Bus Rules

• All students using the school bus are expected to be on the right side of the bus stops at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.
• The front door of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.
• When the bus is in motion students should be seated and no part of their body should be projected out of the window.
• Littering is strictly prohibited in the bus.
• Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism.
• Students using the school bus are required to queue up in the bus assembly area and board the buses as instructed.
• Unruly behaviour like shrieking, shouting and fighting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.
• The bus teachers and student bus monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the Principal.
• Bus permit cards must be carried by all those who commute by bus. Students must travel only in the buses allotted to them by the school office.
• Parents should take prior written permission from the school if they do not want the child to travel back by bus on a particular day. Parents are not permitted to take their wards from the bus assembly area. This is essential for the security of the students.
• Buses should not run beyond the speed of 40km/h.
• There shall be no standing on the foot board.
• Parents should volunteer for the duty.
• The bus service provided by the School is an extended facility for the parents. To the best of our ability we take all care to provide a good service and adhere to the timings. However, the school is in no way responsible for the bus coming late or early and injury or accidents caused to the child or any other unforeseen mishap. The buses will ply on the routes and stop as indicated and no request for change will be entertained. The parents are at a liberty to discontinue the bus service (giving due notice) if they are not satisfied with the school transport system.
• One clear calender month's notice is required before a child can discontinue the use of school transport failing which one month's transport charges will have to be paid in lieu of one month's notice. Since the buses are on contract, withdrawal from the use of bus is not allowed from 1^st January to 31^st March.
• Parents are advised to take utmost care if they hire the services of private vans/auto-rickshaws. The school management does not take responsibility of any kind in respect of such private operators.
